Sweating is a normal bodily reaction to overheating, but for many of us we can feel a little conscious about it.
Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating. It is a long-term condition that can occur for no obvious reason, and can be caused by another condition that you are suffering from or as a side effect of medication you’re taking. It is a common condition that can affect the whole body, especially areas such as your armpits, hands, feet, face, and chest.
Although it can’t be cured, it’s possible to reduce sweating by injecting botulinum toxin (Azzalure) in small doses to the problem area which blocks the nerves to the sweat glands and helps stops them producing sweat.
At Parklands our highly trained clinicians will spend time to discuss what you are going to achieve and come up with a custom plan to help you. Please contact us if you would like to make an appointment.
